Data as of 1 October 2026. 30th Celebration: 162 completed resale sales of the standard Elite Trainer Box and 141 of the Pokémon Center edition on GOAT, 16 September to 1 October 2026. Earlier launches: StockX sales of 6 standard ETBs in their first 12 weeks.
The short answer
The standard 30th Celebration ETB resold for a median of about $151 in its first three trading days and about $128 by 28-30 September, against a $49.99 retail price. The Pokémon Center edition went the other way: $205 on launch day (47 sales), then about $273 by late September.
Earlier sets suggest the standard box can keep drifting. Of 6 recent ETBs we followed on StockX, 4 sold for less in weeks 9 to 11 after release than in their first two weeks; Prismatic Evolutions, the set that was hardest to find at retail in early 2025, rose. That is what happened before, not a forecast, and an anniversary set may not behave like a regular expansion.

What earlier ETBs did in their first 12 weeks
Median StockX sale of each standard ETB before release (pre-orders), in release weeks 0-1, and in weeks 9-11; number of sales in brackets.
| ETB (set) | Released | Pre-orders | Weeks 0-1 | Weeks 9-11 | Change, weeks 0-1 to 9-11 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Prismatic Evolutions | January 2025 | $99 (60) | $100 (757) | $120 (157) | +20% |
| Destined Rivals | May 2025 | $90 (49) | $85 (256) | $76 (57) | -11% |
| Journey Together | March 2025 | $88 (28) | $69 (148) | $55 (29) | -20% |
| Black Bolt | July 2025 | $85 (11) | $76 (57) | $76 (13) | +0% |
| White Flare | July 2025 | $87 (7) | $74 (44) | $70 (12) | -6% |
| Phantasmal Flames | November 2025 | $120 (15) | $88 (135) | $67 (52) | -24% |
The pattern matches what two years of ETB prices show: an early dip while restocks reach stores, and a later climb that, in 2026, came for almost every box at once.
If you are thinking about Delta Reign
The next main set, Delta Reign, releases on 6 November 2026, and Pokémon Center pre-orders opened on 30 September (NerdSnack, PokeBeach). In the table above, the pre-order resale price was above the week 9-11 price for 5 of the 6 boxes with pre-order sales. Paying a pre-order premium has usually meant paying more than the price a couple of months later.
