Pokémon ETB prices: what 16 Elite Trainer Boxes actually sold for on StockX (October 2026)

Data as of 1 October 2026: 822 completed StockX sales of 16 standard Elite Trainer Boxes between 4 July and 1 October 2026, compared with the 90 days before. Sealed, English, single boxes only (no lots, no Pokémon Center editions, no bundles).

The short answer

Over the last 90 days the most-traded ETB on StockX was Prismatic Evolutions, at a median of $139 across 187 sales, followed by Ascended Heroes at $156 (171 sales) and Destined Rivals at $114 (143). Most current-era ETBs now resell between about $110 and $160; the three older chase sets (Hidden Fates, 151, Celebrations) sit between $340 and $520. Retail for a standard ETB is roughly $50 to $60 in 2026, so every box in the table below resells for roughly double retail or more.

The bigger story is direction. Comparing the same box with itself, 7 ETBs sold for clearly more than in the previous 90 days and 4 sold for clearly less. The risers are mostly 2024 and 2025 sets that are getting harder to find at retail (White Flare +34%, Black Bolt +32%, Shrouded Fable +30%, Surging Sparks +24%); the fallers are the boxes that ran up hardest earlier this year (Destined Rivals -40%, 151 -16%, Prismatic Evolutions -9%).

"Middle half" is the range the middle 50% of sales fell in, which is a fairer guide to what you will pay or receive than one lucky or unlucky sale. "Change" compares the same box with its own sales in the 90 days before (5 April to 3 July 2026); "not clear" means the difference does not survive a statistical test (see the method at the end).

Why Destined Rivals and 151 fell while Journey Together rose

Each sealed box follows a cycle we cover in detail in when do Pokémon ETBs go up in value: a launch spike, a dip while stores restock, then a climb, which in 2026 hit almost every box at the same time. Destined Rivals climbed from about $75 in mid-2025 to a $200 median in April 2026 and has given back half of that since; a reprint was widely reported for late August to September 2026 (CardGroove, 7 August 2026), and the fall in our data lines up with it. 151 ran from about $82 in late 2024 to $600 in April 2026 and has eased to the $420 to $500 range. Journey Together, Black Bolt, White Flare and Surging Sparks are still close to their 2026 highs.

Sealed box or the cards inside?

An ETB holds 9 booster packs, so a $114 Destined Rivals box works out to about $12.70 a pack, and a $139 Prismatic Evolutions box to about $15.40. Whether opening beats holding depends on what the hits in that set are worth today. That is what our Set Value Sheets answer: every card in Prismatic Evolutions, Destined Rivals, Surging Sparks, Journey Together, 151 and five more sets, with prices refreshed monthly.

Know what the cards inside are worth. Each Set Value Sheet lists every card in a set with its current TCGplayer market price, rarity and the cost to complete the set, refreshed monthly ($5 to $7).

FAQ

How much is a Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box worth?

The standard Prismatic Evolutions ETB sold for a median of $139 on StockX between 4 July and 1 October 2026 (187 sales; the middle half sold between $128 and $146). The Pokémon Center edition is a different product and sells for roughly three times as much.

Which Pokémon ETB is worth the most?

Of boxes with at least 10 StockX sales in the last 90 days, Hidden Fates ($513) and 151 ($488) had the highest medians. Older sets such as Evolving Skies sell for more but traded too rarely in the window to include.

Are Pokémon ETB prices going up or down?

Both, depending on the box. Comparing each box with itself, 7 of 16 tested ETBs sold for clearly more than in the 90 days before and 4 sold for clearly less. Mostly 2024 and 2025 sets rose; the boxes that spiked earlier in 2026 fell back.

Method

Completed sales recorded on StockX, collected by our sister data site SneakerPulse and analysed by GradeWorthy. Listings were grouped by set and box type; lots (2x, 4x, 10x), Costco and Sam's Club bundles, Pokémon Center editions, Plus boxes, foreign-language boxes and graded or sealed-case listings were excluded. Medians and quartiles are over every sale in the window. "Change" compares the same box's sales in two consecutive 90-day windows with a Mann-Whitney test, with Benjamini-Hochberg correction across all 16 boxes tested; a change is called clear only at q < 0.05. Sales counts on StockX also rise and fall with how many listings our feed covers, so they show activity, not demand. Retail range from Pokémon Center listings (ETBs at $39.99 to $64.99) and GameStop's 30th Celebration ETB listing ($49.99), checked October 2026.
